- Hazardous Drugs Rule. Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. Adopted on January 3, 2012 and took effect in 3 stages January 1, 2015.
- OSHA has worked with The Joint Commission (TJC) and The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) on hazardous drugs. In addition to a trade news release (Work precautions for handling hazardous drugs highlighted by NIOSH, OSHA, Joint Commission. April 7, 2011), OSHA supported the TJC/NIOSH monograph on employee and patient safety
