Investigation Summary
At 1:30 pm. on October 17, 2017, Employee #1 was working for an express delivery service. He was working on an aircraft. There were mechanical issues with the nose landing gear. The employee was performing maintenance on the nose landing gear, when the right landing gear door automatically closed. The employee was caught between the landing gear door and the drag brace. He sustained injuries to the upper part of his body and his torso. He was killed.
