Employee is drawn into salt spreader and is asphyxiated

At 1:59 a.m. on January 25, 2019, an employee was plowing snow and spreading salt while operating a 1993 International 4900 Series Truck, which was equipped with a Flink Salt Spreader. The employee left the truck with it running and was standing near the salt spreader. The employee caught his clothing on the salt spreader and was asphyxiated.
