Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:00 p.m. on November 21, 2020, an employee worked as an occupational therapist in the hospital. During the week of October 12, 2020, the employee assisted with the evaluation of a patient in the hospital emergency room. This patient eventually tested positive for COVID-19. The employee became ill with COVID-19 like symptoms on October 17 and later tested positive on October 20, 2020. The employee was admitted to the hospital on October 23, 2020, and later died on November 23, 2020.
