The grantee proposed to build new training capacity by providing 4 hours of construction training to 350 rural Alaskan Native workers including water and sewer utility operators, construction laborers, construction tradespeople, tribal housing workers, tribal and village administrators, and village environmental staff. Training included confined spaces, electrical hazards, ergonomics, excavation hazards, fall prevention, and silica. The organization used and revised existing Susan Harwood training materials. Training was in English. |
