Signs are posted on a machine to inform employees of danger points. Warning signs may be used in conjunction with signs that give specific information about the hazards involved, training required, or specific job duties that they pertain to. A red sign indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury. This sign warns workers that lockout/tagout must be used when performing servicing and maintenance to prevent injuries from hazardous energy. [Photo description: Highlighted area includes a red warning sign with the following text: Warning. Lock-out all machinery prior to servicing. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.] View close-up

This is the form station. A typical form station has the mold mounted on one platen and the pressure box mounted on the other. Vacuum holes in the mold and air pressure from the pressure box are used to produce highly defined plastic parts.
